- Can you provide a work schedule?
A true professional will not just show up for work randomly. They will be able to provide you with advance notice of their start and end dates, as well as the hours that will be worked during the days.
- Can you provide references?
Any contractor with extensive experience will want to show off their work. Furthermore, happy customers will likely want to show it off for them.
